Job summary

Talent With Heart in Mason City, Iowa, is seeking a Human Resources Manager to oversee all HR/Office functions, policies, and local programs. You will drive employment relations, wage and salary administration, safety programs, benefits, and training to maintain a union-free environment.

You will lead HR staff, ensure compliance, and partner with leadership on strategic people initiatives. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in HR or related field and 5–10 years of progressive HR

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in HR or related field and 5–10 years of progressive leadership experience in HR.
Specialized training in employment law, compensation, employee relations, safety, and training preferred.
Must communicate clearly orally and in writing; maintain confidentiality and handle multiple projects.

Responsibilities

Direct employment activities and ensure qualified employees are recruited and hired timely.
Ensure policies and programs are understood and administered consistently; disseminate communication to all employees.
Oversee HR programs through HR staff and manage payroll processing on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.
Administer wage and salary programs, performance appraisal, and equity reviews for internal/external equity.
Lead the administration of OSHAsafety programs and monitor OSHA-required data.
Investigate employee concerns and manage communications and reporting within the department.
