Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
• 5–10 years of progressive HR leadership experience.
• Specialized training in employment law, compensation, and safety preferred.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Direct employment activities ensuring properly qualified employees are recruited and hired in a timely manner.
• Ensures that policies and programs are understood and administered consistently; disseminates communication to all employees.
• Oversee the implementation of HR programs through HR staff and monitor administration of welfare plans, benefits, and safety programs.
• Administer wage and salary administration and performance appraisal programs and review wage ranges for equity.
• Oversee payroll processing on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.
• Review, guide, and approve management recommendations for terminations.
• Maintain records and reports necessary for HR functions.
• Keep executive team informed of significant problems affecting company goals.
• Develop and supervise training programs and conduct supervisory training.
• Lead safety and health program implementation and OSHA data tracking.
• Investigate employee complaints or concerns and resolve issues.
