Job summary

Saginaw Senior Care & Rehab is seeking a Human Resources Manager to partner with facility leadership, delivering Talent & Culture solutions. You will own payroll processing, lead full lifecycle recruiting, and handle employee relations across the campus.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in HR and 3–5 years of HR experience, ideally in long-term care, with strong communication and organizational skills. This is a full-time, on-site position supporting guest services and staff development.

Qualifications

• Generalist HR experience with recruiting, payroll, employee relations, and benefits.
• Long-Term Care experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Customer service focus and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Administrate and ensure completion of facility payroll.
• Execute full life cycle recruiting, including sourcing candidates, reviewing resumes, coordinating interviews, completing reference checks, and making job offers.
• Complete the pre-employment background screening process on all new hires.
• Coordinate the new hire orientation program with staff development.
• Collaborate with Management to diagnose staffing needs and assist with staffing plans and strategies, including turnover, overtime, recruitment, and retention efforts.
• Respond to employee relations issues, including conducting timely, objective investigations on disciplinary actions, ensuring proper documentation is complete and appropriate, and legal outcomes are achieved.
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in our daily interactions with guests, families, and visitors.
