Job summary

Saginaw ISD is seeking a Human Resources Manager to oversee HR staff and daily operations for the district and related LEA partners. This role ensures adherence to collective bargaining agreements, board policies, and payroll integrity while driving HR initiatives.

Responsibilities include managing employee lifecycles, workforce data, and reporting; coordinating with Finance for audits; and supporting benefits and leaves administration under policy guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Three years of HR experience required; school HR experience preferred.
• MSBO HR Specialist certification or ability to obtain within three years.
• Experience in benefits and leave administration, workers’ compensation, and unemployment claims preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google; ability to learn district HR software and HRIS.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HR staff and daily operations for SISD and assigned LEA districts.
• Manage collective bargaining agreements, board policies, and wage/benefit adjustments.
• Develop HR metrics, reports, and dashboards for leadership decisions.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and district leaders to ensure service delivery.
• Oversee employee lifecycle from hiring to offboarding and payroll data validation.
