Job summary

Food Management Search, Inc. is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to partner with the plant leadership team, delivering strategic HR support and building a high-performance culture aligned with operational goals.

You will lead employee relations, staffing, onboarding, payroll accuracy, compliance, and training across the site, driving engagement and continuous improvement with HRIS systems and corporate partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Industrial Relations, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive HR experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory/management role.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Strong background in HRIS; Workday experience preferred.
• Demonstrated project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with site operations leaders to design and implement proactive employee relations programs.
• Develop and execute strategies to attract, hire, and retain top talent across all levels.
• Lead staffing and recruitment activities including manpower planning and full-cycle recruiting for salaried staff.
• Manage onboarding processes including background checks, drug screenings, offers, and orientation.
• Maintain HR systems and payroll/employee records; ensure policy compliance.
• Oversee leaves, unemployment claims, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide guidance on investigations and issue resolution.
• Lead training and development initiatives, including performance reviews and succession planning.
• Administer corrective action processes aligned with company values.
• Collaborate with Corporate HR on communications, compensation, benefits, and policy development.
• Manage local compensation programs and wage rate administration.
• Support benefits administration and respond to inquiries.
