Job summary

Jack Link's Protein Snacks in Underwood, IA is seeking a seasoned Human Resources Manager to serve as a strategic HR business partner for manufacturing leadership. You will guide workforce planning, talent management, and HR operations to enable business objectives.

This role combines strategy and hands-on work to build structure, programs, and processes that support a high-performance culture, compensation, benefits, and employee engagement. Travel up to 20% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressive manufacturing human resources experience with employee relations, HR operations, and leadership consultation.
• 2+ years of progressive HR leadership experience with direct responsibility for managing and developing HR team members.
• Experience supporting complex distribution center operations with multi-shift hourly populations.
• Extensive knowledge of employment law and regulatory compliance; guide leaders on complex employee relations matters.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic HR business partner to plant leadership on workforce planning and talent management.
• Lead, coach, and develop onsite HR team and ensure consistent HR processes.
• Foster positive workplace culture and employee engagement across levels.
• Manage employee relations, investigations, disciplinary actions, and separations.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on staffing, onboarding, and retention initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and HR procedures.
