Job summary

F&S Fresh Foods seeks an HR Manager to act as a strategic business partner, aligning people initiatives with organizational goals while leading a high-performance, compliant workplace. This role oversees employee relations, talent acquisition, workforce development, compliance, and HR analytics across the facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field; SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive HR management experience in manufacturing, food production, or distribution.
• Demonstrated expertise in Oregon employment law and guidance on compliance and risk management.
• Experience leading full-cycle recruiting, employee relations and workforce development programs.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate HR data into actionable decisions.
• Ability to manage sensitive employee interactions with professionalism and policy consistency.
• Highly organized, proactive, and capable of handling multiple priorities with deadlines.
• Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Partner with functional leaders to design and implement HR strategies aligned with goals.
• Analyze HR metrics to guide decisions and demonstrate impact.
• Lead HR team as a trusted, confidential resource for employee concerns and ideas.
• Conduct post-hire, stay, and exit interviews and regular check-ins.
• Ensure compliance with federal and Oregon state employment laws with consistent policy interpretation.
• Oversee full-cycle recruiting to secure a skilled manufacturing workforce and coach the team.
• Assess skills gaps and coordinate training and development initiatives.
• Allocate HR resources to support operational needs and business goals.
