Job summary

ofi, a global leader in food and beverage ingredients, seeks an experienced HR Manager for our Bayonne, NJ facility. Reporting to the Regional HR Director, you will lead staffing, compensation, employee relations, training and safety initiatives across the plant, guiding a dynamic team to align HR with business goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of HR Generalist experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred; PHR/SPHR preferred.
• Excellent communication and employee relations skills; ability to train and coach leaders.

Responsibilities

• Act as strategic business partner to plant leadership to shape HR strategy.
• Lead staffing, recruitment, and onboarding for salary positions.
• Oversee compensation programs including merit, bonus, and promotions.
• Drive employee engagement, safety, and training initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with EEOC, FLSA, ADA, OSHA and other regulations.
• Coach managers on employee relations and performance management.
• Manage HR data, reporting, and workforce planning across geographies.
