Global Market Foods is hiring an HR Manager to lead HR operations across multiple New Jersey facilities. You will partner with site managers, oversee recruiting, onboarding, benefits, performance reviews, and compliance to sustain growth and a positive culture.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in HR, strong knowledge of federal/state laws, and is bilingual in Spanish and English. This role focuses on strategic HR initiatives and ongoing organizational development.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years HR experience, preferably in food manufacturing/production or a startup environment.
• Minimum 2 years of HR Manager experience.
• Self-starter, ownership of projects with minimal supervision.
• Experience managing HR across multiple facilities.
• Strong understanding of employment laws (federal, state, local).
• Proficiency in HRIS and payroll administration.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR partner for assigned facilities and provide expert HR support.
• Oversee daily HR operations: recruiting, onboarding/offboarding, benefits, performance management.
• Lead talent acquisition in collaboration with department leaders.
• Maintain accurate HRIS records and generate compliance reports.
• Develop and implement HR policies and employee handbooks.
• Conduct I-9 audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
