Software Placement Group in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a Human Resources Manager to provide strategic and hands-on HR support across its workforce. This role manages employee relations, performance management, compliance, compensation, and HR operations, aligning with nonprofit best practices and employment laws.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience.
• In-depth knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Policy development, implementation, and interpretation related to employee conduct, discipline, and workplace safety.
• Performance appraisal methods, goal setting, coaching strategies, and employee development.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain policies clearly to diverse audiences.
• Skilled in handling employee relations issues, mediating conflicts, and facilitating conversations.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently and accurately.
• Proficient in identifying challenges and developing compliant, people-centered solutions.
• Ability to build relationships with staff at all levels with integrity.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure employee compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
• Serve as a point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and conflict resolution.
• Coach and counsel management through employee relations issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct internal investigations to resolve employee relations issues.
• Facilitate voluntary and involuntary employee separations.
• Foster an inclusive workplace culture aligned with organizational values.
• Support employee engagement initiatives and retention strategies.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, local and funder regulations.
• Coordinate performance reviews and coach managers on feedback and development.
• Oversee personnel records, I-9s, background checks, and HRIS data integrity.
• Leverage HRIS for recordkeeping, reporting, and efficiency.
• Generate HR reports and analytics for leadership and Board.
• Support training and employee wellness aligned with the mission.
• Advise on organizational development and workforce planning.
