University of Wisconsin–Madison seeks a Human Resources Manager for the Division of Facilities Planning & Management. The role leads recruitment, compensation/title administration, employee promotions, and strategic HR consultation while supervising a team of HR professionals.

The position emphasizes building partnerships with FP&M leaders, campus stakeholders, and external partners, delivering innovative HR solutions for a 24/7 multilingual environment and high-quality service.

Competenze

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in progressively more responsible human resources positions.
• Experience in recruitment, compensation/title and general HR administration.
• Experience serving as a trusted advisor to leaders, providing consultation and creative recommendations on HR strategies, programs, and organizational challenges.
• Experience leading projects and HR programs/initiatives.
• Ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• Identifies, designs, implements, and monitors HR programs aligned with strategic objectives and initiatives.
• Monitors programs to ensure compliance with HR laws, regulations, and institutional policies.
• Serves as subject matter expert to support unit managers' alignment of business needs and HR strategy.
• Directs and manages unit operational functions and/or staff.
• Identifies and interprets employment policies and practices for stakeholders and provides recommendations for changes.
