University of Wisconsin–Madison is seeking a detail-oriented HR Generalist to support core HR and recruitment processes for the 1,200+ staff in FP&M. The role focuses on recruitment management, hire and job-change transactions, and supervisor changes, contributing to the ongoing development of HR services to meet employee needs.

The ideal candidate brings a proactive, collaborative approach, manages multiple priorities, and helps maintain campus operations 24/7.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years customer service or related experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and ability to learn Workday HRIS and other programs
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple processes, deadlines, and competing priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Executes and audits work transactions and changes adhering to established policies and procedures to meet anticipated deadlines
• Receives, responds to, and resolves employee questions and problems
• Represents unit/program at institutional workshops, informational meetings, and training sessions
• Contributes to the development, implementation, interpretation, and revision of work unit Human Resources policies and procedures according to institutional and legal rules and regulations
• Performs full lifecycle recruiting
• Provides consultation, performs analytics, and/or maintains personnel files, communications, and materials for work unit through various mediums
