Job summary

The Human Resources Manager for the Division of Facilities Planning & Management (FP&M) leads major HR functions, including recruitment, compensation, promotions, and strategic HR guidance. This role supervises a team of three or more HR professionals and partners with leaders campus-wide to align workforce planning with FP&M objectives.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience in progressively more responsible human resources positions.
• Experience in recruitment, compensation/title and general HR administration.
• Experience serving as a trusted advisor to leaders, providing consultation and creative recommendations on HR strategies, programs, and organizational challenges.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, designs, implements, and monitors HR programs aligned with strategic objectives and initiatives.
• Monitors programs to ensure compliance with HR laws, regulations, and institutional policies.
• Serves as subject matter expert to support unit managers' alignment of business needs and HR strategy.
• Directs and manages unit operational functions and/or staff.
• Identifies, proposes, implements, and interprets employment policies and practices for stakeholders, and provides recommendations for changes.
