Job summary

Cherokee Federal is seeking an HR Management Analyst to provide continuous HR support to EUR-IO/EX/HR, performing a broad range of administrative and analytical duties in line with U.S. regulations.

The role involves drafting, processing, tracking HR actions, and coordinating with GEC teams, while supporting the Resources Director and handling special projects. A TS/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in business management related to Human Resources.
• Minimum of three (3) years of professional work experience related to HR, preferably within a federal agency.
• Significant familiarity with or direct experience working for the U.S. Department of State.
• Thorough knowledge of HR processes, demonstrated attention to detail, and familiarity with related HR concepts.
• Experience assisting management or government clients with a broad range of human resources matters, including drafting and submitting position descriptions and coordinating reclassification requests.
• Demonstrated ability to draft guidance and memoranda addressing HR and other operational issues and to anticipate and respond to GEC support requirements.
• Broad understanding of operational functions with professional experience in resources management.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance is required.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and assume a high level of responsibility in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to produce high-quality work with minimal guidance and oversight while managing multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative and analytical duties related to staffing and HR processes.
• Review, analyze, and interpret legislation, HR regulations, OPM directives, and other guidelines.
• Provide backup support to Resources staff within the GEC.
• Monitor administrative processes for efficiency, accountability, and records management.
• Develop briefing materials and assist in defending submissions at the Departmental level.
