Job summary

Cherokee Strategic Solutions (CSS) is part of Cherokee Federal, supporting the Army Office of Energy Initiatives with policy, program, and business analysis. The Senior Management Analyst role focuses on energy policy research, organizational analysis, and delivering leadership-ready reports to inform decision-making.

Qualified candidates will have DoW policy experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience researching and conducting impact assessments of DoW policy and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience preparing, coordinating, and editing DoW-level executive correspondence, decision memoranda, information papers, briefing materials, staffing packages, and other senior-leader products.
  • Proficiency using ETMS2 to initiate, staff, track, coordinate, revise, and close taskings.
  • Experience conducting organizational assessments and business process analyses to identify gaps and develop/implement process improvement recommendations.
  • Experience developing performance measures, metrics, and dashboards to monitor program effectiveness.
  • Learns quickly and works fast in evolving environments.
  • Self-starter who brings ideas forward and proactively explores new opportunities.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to independently produce leadership-ready work products.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority taskings and meet short or competing suspense dates.
  • This position requires an active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance to be considered.

Responsibilities

  • The analyst assesses federal legislation, Executive Orders, OMB guidance, Army directives, Department of War requirements, and other regulatory drivers affecting program execution.
  • The analyst evaluates governance, processes, and business operations to improve efficiency, accountability, coordination, and delivery, translating complex information into actionable recommendations, executive products, and management reports.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

This position requires an active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance to be considered.

The Business Process Reengineering (BPR)/Policy Analyst provides the Army Office of Energy Initiatives (OEI) with policy, program, and business analysis support. The role combines energy policy research with organizational and operational analysis to help leadership interpret external requirements, improve internal processes, and make informed decisions.

Compensation & Benefits:

Starting Salary Range for Senior Management Analyst: $115,000-$125,000

Actual compensation varies based on qualifications, experience, and location.

Senior Management Analyst Responsibilities Include:

  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
