Job summary

Cherokee Federal is seeking an HR Management Analyst to provide continuous human resources support to EUR-IO/EX/HR, handling a wide range of analytical and administrative duties in line with federal guidelines.

The role involves interpreting HR regulations, drafting and processing documentation, reporting HR actions and trends, and supporting the Resources Director and GEC teams on special projects.

Qualifications

• Associate's or bachelor’s degree in business management related to Human Resources.
• Minimum of three years of professional HR experience.
• Significant familiarity with or direct experience working for the U.S. Department of State.
• Thorough knowledge of HR processes and related concepts.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of administrative and analytical duties related to staffing, organizational management, presentations and meeting support, and tracking HR processes.
• Review, analyze, and interpret legislation, HR regulations, OPM directives, and other Departmental and Federal guidelines.
• Provide backup support to other Resources staff within the GEC and monitor administrative processes and programs.
• Communicate with colleagues, management, and external contacts to gather and analyze information concerning agency processes and programs.
• Develop strategies and implement efficiencies consistent with Department of State regulations to address management needs.
• Prepare briefing materials and assist in defending submissions at the Departmental level.
• Provide information and clarifications in response to inquiries from Department, OPM, Congressional, and senior leadership.
