Job summary

Orica is seeking an HR M&A Integration Lead to guide the People workstream from due diligence through post-close integration. You will shape the people integration plan, assess workforce structures, and align programs with Orica's culture and strategy.

You will partner with executives and cross-functional teams to deliver hands-on integration, manage risks, and ensure a smooth transition for acquired employees. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Organizational Development, or related field.
• Experience leading HR/People workstreams for mergers, acquisitions, or large-scale transitions.
• Experience working from the acquiring organization's perspective during integrations.
• Experience evaluating complex workforce, compensation, benefits, and org integration scenarios.
• Proven ability to identify risks, assess options, and develop leadership recommendations.
• Strong analytical skills with complex workforce data.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills with executive-level reporting.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead the People workstream for multiple acquisitions and integrations through due diligence to post-close.
• Develop end-to-end People integration plans, governance, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Serve as the primary HR lead across integration teams and with business stakeholders.
• Lead workforce due diligence: collect, validate, interpret employee data.
• Compare structures, roles, and workforce models to identify integration opportunities and risks.
• Analyze compensation, incentives, benefits, and terms to support planning.
• Develop risk-based recommendations and decision papers.
