HP Hood, a leading US food and beverage manufacturer, is seeking an experienced HR professional to plan and administer policies across all HR functions. You will work with leadership to ensure compliance, drive talent initiatives, and support a positive, inclusive workplace culture.

The role covers recruiting, onboarding, training, employee relations, and program development, with opportunities for advancement and professional development within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or 5 years’ experience in training and human resources.
• Ability to work with all levels of management and employees.
• Strong training, communication and public speaking skills.

Responsibilities

• Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
• Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects employees to fill vacant positions.
• Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company.
• Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and.
• Plans, organizes, and controls all activities of the department; participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.
• Partners with compensation team to review job descriptions and support performance evaluation programs; manages career pathing and performance management.
