Job summary

HP Hood LLC, a leading food and beverage manufacturer, seeks a hands-on Human Resources professional to plan and administer policies across all HR activities, personally or through supervisors. You will identify regulatory requirements, recruit and orient new employees, manage employee relations, performance programs, and contribute to EEO compliance, diversity and training initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or 5 years’ experience in HR or training.
  • Experience with policy development, compliance and reporting.
  • Strong communication and training abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of management.

Responsibilities

  • Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting HR functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are compliant.
  • Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects employees to fill vacancies.
  • Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitudes toward the company.
  • Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and related matters.
  • Plans, organizes, and controls all activities of the department; participates in developing goals and systems.
  • Partners with the compensation team to review and revise job descriptions and support performance evaluations; manages career pathing.
  • Develops and maintains affirmative action program; files EEO-1 annually; maintains records to conform to EEO regulations.
  • Coordinates training and educational activities; assists departments with curriculum development.
  • Employee relations counseling including coaching and corrective actions.
  • Evaluates reports and outcomes; recommends changes to improve efficiency and services.
  • Oversees ethical sourcing initiatives within the organization.

Job Summary

Plans and administers policies relating to all phases of human resources activity by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.


Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Coordinates training/educational activities for the Assists departments with the development of training/educational curriculum and activities.

  • Employee relations counseling including coaching and corrective action

  • Evaluates reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services

  • Responsible for overseeing and monitoring Ethical Sourcing


Education And Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree and/or 5 years’ experience in training and human resources


Skills And Competencies


  • Computer knowledge is essential

  • Accounting and financial knowledge important

  • Ability to work well with all levels of management and employees

  • Training, communication and public speaking skills are a must

The pay range for this position is


$100,000 - $115,000 USD
