Job summary

HP Hood LLC seeks an experienced HR professional to plan and administer policies across all human resources activities, supervising staff as needed. This role drives policy compliance, recruiting, orientation and employee relations, aligning HR initiatives with business goals.

The position emphasizes managing compensation programs, performance reviews, and career development while ensuring EE0 compliance and effective training programs plant-wide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or 5 years’ experience in training and human resources.
• Experience in policy development and government reporting requirements.
• Ability to coordinate training, employee relations, and compensation programs.

Responsibilities

• Identifies legal requirements and ensures compliance of HR policies and reporting.
• Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects employees for vacancies.
• Plans orientation programs to align new hires with company goals.
• Responds to inquiries regarding policies and programs.
• Oversees department activities, goals, and systems.
• Manages compensation programs and performance evaluation processes.
• Develops affirmative action programs and EE0-1 reporting.
• Coordinates training and educational activities for the Plant.
• Conducts employee relations counseling and corrective action.
• Evaluates outcomes and recommends policy improvements.

Job Summary

Plans and administers policies relating to all phases of human resources activity by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
• Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects employees to fill vacant positions.
• Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals.
• Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
• Plans, organizes, and controls all activities of the department. Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.
• Oversees site compensation program; rewrites job descriptions as necessary; monitors performance evaluation program and revises as necessary. Managers and monitors career pathing/performance management programs.
• Develops and maintains affirmative action program; files EEO-1 annually; maintains other records, reports, and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
• Coordinates training/educational activities for the Plant. Assists departments with the development of training/educational curriculum and activities.
• Employee relations counseling including coaching and corrective action administration.
• Evaluates reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.

Education And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree and/or 5 years’ experience in training and human resources

Skills And Competencies

• Computer knowledge is essential
• Accounting and financial knowledge important
• Ability to work well with all levels of management and employees
• Training, communication and public speaking skills are a must

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location.

The pay range for this position is $98,300 - $110,500 USD
