Job summary

National Safety Apparel in Cleveland, OH is seeking a strategic Director of Human Resources to lead our HR function across the organization.

You will partner with executives to shape workforce planning, talent development, compensation, benefits, and HR systems while ensuring compliant, scalable practices. Occasional remote work is allowed; extensive collaboration with manufacturing leadership is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field required.
• Master's degree or MBA preferred.
• Eight+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least five years leading HR professionals.
• Experience in a growing manufacturing organization preferred.
• Experience with HRIS platforms such as Dayforce, Workday, or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of the HR function with compliant, customer-focused service.
• Coach and develop the HR team with clear priorities and high performance.
• Partner with business leaders on workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and employee relations.
• Develop standardized HR policies, processes, and metrics to support decisions.
• Advise on acquisitions through HR due diligence and integration planning.
