Job summary

Concordance Healthcare Solutions, LLC is seeking a Human Resources Director to provide strategic direction for HR functions in Ohio. The role focuses on employee relations, leave management, compliance, payroll, benefits, and workforce engagement, partnering with executives to promote a culture of accountability and integrity.

You will lead leave programs, policy development, training, and data-driven HR initiatives while ensuring legal compliance across the organization and serving as a trusted

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (equivalent combo of education/experience considered)
• Master’s degree preferred
• Minimum 5–10 years progressive HR experience
• Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, COBRA, ERISA and related laws

Responsibilities

• Lead HR function aligned with Concordance strategic objectives
• Advise managers and employees on complex HR matters including performance management
• Oversee leaves of absence programs (FMLA, ADA, disability, USERRA) and ensure compliance
• Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures
• Maintain SOPs for HR functions and ensure data integrity
• Support performance management, engagement, talent development, and promotions
• Conduct employee relations investigations and deliver fair resolutions
• Develop and deliver HR training on policies and compliance
• Assist with audits, compliance reporting, and internal metrics
• Back up Workers’ Comp and Unemployment Insurance management
• Collaborate with stakeholders and participate in strategic planning
• Lead improvement projects for efficiency and compliance
• Perform additional HR duties to support operations
