This role oversees HR operations across multi-site plant production and corporate administration, focusing on workforce planning for skilled labor, safety compliance, labor relations, and talent acquisition. You will partner with plant management to implement onboarding and retention strategies.
Qualifications
7+ years of progressive HR leadership in manufacturing or industrial settings.
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field; SHRM-SCP or SPHR preferred.
Strong working knowledge of OSHA guidelines, labor laws, payroll/HRIS software.
On-site presence on the plant floor with production supervisors and crews.
Responsibilities
Lead workforce planning and recruitment for shop-floor talent and technical personnel; partner with local vocational schools and apprenticeship programs.
Collaborate with EHS managers to ensure OSHA compliance and manage Workers' Comp claims; foster a safety-first culture.
Oversee employee relations, performance evaluations, and retention initiatives tailored to manufacturing labor.
Oversee compensation and benefits structures using regional benchmarks and plan administration.
Develop and implement training and onboarding programs to reduce turnover and accelerate productivity.
