Job summary

Acrnet is seeking an Human Resources Manager to guide HR strategy for a metal fabrication manufacturing facility. You will provide strategic and hands-on leadership across employee relations, leadership development, talent management, workforce planning, and HR operations.

You will coach and develop supervisors, lead a team of three HR professionals, and partner with plant leaders to enhance leadership capabilities and organizational performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Demonstrated experience in employee relations, leadership coaching, and organizational development.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
• Proven ability to influence leaders, build relationships, and drive results in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to the General Manager and leadership team on workforce strategy, organizational effectiveness, and culture.
• Develop and implement HR initiatives that support business objectives, employee engagement, retention, and operational performance.
• Utilize HR metrics and workforce insights to identify trends and recommend solutions.
• Partner with plant leaders to strengthen leadership capabilities at all levels of the organization.
• Coach and develop supervisors and managers on performance management, employee engagement, communication, conflict resolution, and talent development.
• Drive succession planning and talent development initiatives to build internal leadership pipelines.
• Lead employee relations strategies that promote a positive, respectful, and high‑performing workplace culture.
• Investigate and resolve employee concerns, policy issues, and workplace conflicts in a fair and consistent manner.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and HR best practices.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of three HR professionals.
• Establish clear priorities, accountability, and development plans to build a highly effective HR function.
• Foster a customer‑service‑focused HR team that supports employees and leaders across the plant.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and workforce planning processes.
