Job summary

Komatsu is seeking a Human Resources Manager to partner with Milwaukee and Chicago leaders, aligning people strategies with business goals to build high-performing teams.

You will lead organizational design, workforce planning, talent development, and employee relations while coaching leaders to drive engagement and performance. The role requires onsite work and regular travel between offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field; certification preferred.
• 6+ years of progressive HR experience in a strategic HR Business Partner or HR Manager role.
• Experience advising leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, talent management, employee relations, and change management initiatives.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to align people strategies to business objectives and influence leaders at all levels.
• Experience coaching leaders through performance management, organizational change, and talent decisions.
• Knowledge of talent management, succession planning, and leadership development practices.
• Advanced knowledge of human resources related laws, regulations, etc.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work onsite in Milwaukee or Chicago; travel ~10% of the time.

• Employee Relations to address issues and mitigate risk while fostering a high-performing environment.
• Leadership Coaching to improve effectiveness, engagement, and development planning.
• Talent Acquisition collaboration to support recruiting and onboarding practices.
• HR Programs & Enterprise Initiatives to design and improve HR programs and technology.
• Employment Law & Compliance to ensure policy and legal alignment.
