Job summary

OPW, a global leader in fluid-handling solutions, seeks an HR Manager to support Ball Ground, GA location. You will partner with leadership to execute headcount strategies, manage recruitment for managerial and professional roles, and drive employee development and engagement.

You will ensure compliance with employment laws, deliver HR analytics to leadership, and promote a positive, productive workplace aligned with our objectives. This role reports to the Director of HR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field required or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as HR Manager in industrial manufacturing.
• Demonstratable interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• In-depth knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Experience with HR metrics and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the business strategy.
• Partner with leadership on headcount and staffing plans.
• Lead talent acquisition for managerial, exempt, and professional roles; coordinate with managers.
• Support employee development, engagement, and motivation.
• Foster a positive working environment and culture.
• Provide HR reporting and metrics to management.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and policies.
