Job summary

EMCOR Group, Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Manager to serve as a subject-matter expert on employment, recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compensation, benefits, compliance, and training.

You will administer HR policies to ensure compliance with EMCOR’s procedures and applicable laws at the national and local levels. The role focuses on HR operations, talent management, and risk mitigation, collaborating with leadership to develop workforce plans and implement effective HR programs

Qualifications

• BA/BS in HR Management or Business Administration; five+ years HR experience with employee relations, benefits administration and compliance.
• Experience with union collective bargaining agreements strongly desired.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HR operations and collaboration across teams, ensuring compliant employment practices and benefits administration.
• Lead talent management including recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning.
• Manage employee relations, performance issues, investigations, and leave administration (FMLA, ADA).
• Ensure regulatory compliance reporting (EEO, AFFIRMATIVE ACTION) and policy updates.
• Provide guidance to leaders on HR policy interpretation and performance management processes.
