Job summary

Lyons Electric Company is seeking a Project Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate electrical construction and maintenance projects. This role oversees scheduling, budgeting, and implementation, supporting field personnel and resolving on-site issues while maintaining full financial control of the project.

The position requires strong knowledge of construction documents, codes, and safety practices and will be based in Northwest Indiana.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7–10 years related experience in electrical industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management preferred; Master’s in related field is a plus.
• Familiarity with federal, state, and city regulations and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Drive the project’s overall flow effectively from inception to completion.
• Review and understand scope for project turnover; attend walk-throughs.
• Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, or cost tracking reports.
• Inspect projects for compliance with building and safety codes and regulations.
• Create schedule of values and overall project schedules; coordinate with foremen and subs.
• Collaborate with foreman regarding project safety; conduct toolbox talks.
