Job summary

EMCOR Group, Inc. seeks a Project Manager / Estimator to lead the preparation of bid estimates and manage bid packages for diverse electrical construction projects.

The role combines estimating rigor with project oversight to ensure accurate pricing and scheduling from inception through completion. Ideal candidates bring extensive electrical industry experience, strong leadership, and proficient use of AutoCAD and project management tools to coordinate with engineers, owners, and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7–10 years related experience in electrical industry.
• Knowledge of construction industry and contract documentation.
• Must demonstrate integrity, honesty, professionalism and commitment to company values.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates used by management for planning, organizing, and scheduling work.
• Analyze blueprints and documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Confer with engineers, owners, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.
• Review contract and bid documents and understand scope for project turnover.
• Attend walk-throughs, pre-bid and scope clarification meetings.
• Coordinate efforts with Engineering Department and drive project flow from inception to completion.
