Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC is seeking an experienced Human Resources Leader to guide staffing, employee relations, training, and compensation administration across the Huntsville plant and related sites. The role blends strategic oversight with hands-on execution to maintain compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local laws.

The position requires 5+ years in HR, 1+ year in manufacturing, and strong leadership, communication, and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years' progressive human resources experience.
• Minimum one (1) year experience in a manufacturing or similar environment.
• Ability to communicate in English, both verbal and written; multilingual abilities preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to prioritize.
• High level of confidentiality and discretion in all matters.

Responsibilities

• Direct HR team to implement staffing, employee relations, and regulatory processes.
• Coach leaders and frontline staff on conflict resolution in line with laws and company guidelines.
• Drive recruitment, selection, and succession planning strategies for internal customers.
• Manage salaried recruiting process, conduct interviews, and coordinate offers in Workday.
• Provide HR-related training on performance counseling and employee relations issues.
• Counsel managers on performance management and prepare corrective action documentation.
• Lead initiatives around engagement, diversity, talent management, training and change management.
• Mentor and cross-train staff to support career development.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement to boost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with union agreements and address employee grievances as needed.
• Follow safety policies and wear PPE as required.
