Job summary

WeGo Public Transit seeks a Manager of HR and Labor Relations to lead HR programs, oversee recruitment and salary administration, and supervise HR staff. This role ensures regulatory compliance, labor relations with unions, and development of policies aligned with DTO board direction.

Responsibilities include coordinating payroll-related processes, maintaining records, guiding disciplinary actions, and supporting arbitration with legal counsel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Administration or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and HRIS systems.
• Knowledge of employment laws and policies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the HR staff and coordinate HR programs.
• Develop and implement HR policies and labor relations strategies.
• Oversee recruitment, salary administration, benefits and workers' compensation risk management.
• Maintain personnel records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Participate in grievance resolution and arbitration support as needed.
• Coordinate salary studies and performance evaluation processes.
