Job summary

Avosys Technology, Inc is seeking an HR Operations Manager to lead daily HR functions including recruiting, onboarding, benefits, and policy administration. You will advise management, handle employee relations, and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires 5+ years in HR, a Bachelor's degree, and strong communication skills. In-person meetings near San Antonio, with remote capability. Paycom HRIS experience is a plus and SHRM certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Management or related field.
• 5+ years HR experience; SHRM certification preferred.
• 3+ years in high-volume health professional or IT recruitment.
• Knowledge of EEOC, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, AAP, etc.
• Able to communicate effectively in writing and speech.

Responsibilities

• Develop, support and implement HR programs (employee relations, benefits, compensation, recruitment, compliance, HRIS, records).
• Advise management on HR policy administration and corrective actions.
• Investigate employee/manager complaints and assist in actions.
• Improve performance via coaching and problem-solving with managers and staff.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state/local laws and internal policies.
• Support recruiting (job descriptions, postings, sourcing, screening, salary surveys).
• Onboard new hires (offers, background checks, onboarding forms).
• Administer benefit programs and communicate with brokers.
