The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of HR experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. This in-office role requires hands-on collaboration with the HR team and management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field preferred.
• At least 5 years of human resource experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists management with daily HR functions including recruitment, benefits management, payroll processing, leave management, and policy enforcement.
• Recruits, interviews, and facilitates hiring in collaboration with department managers.
• Conducts or secures background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
• Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
• Administers onboarding, compensation, benefits, and leave; handles disciplinary matters and investigations.
• Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Maintains knowledge of HR trends and employment law developments.
• Assists with payroll processing and HRIS maintenance (ADP).
• Supports annual programs such as United Way campaigns, performance evaluations, open enrollment, and internships.
