Job summary

White Cap is seeking an HR professional to provide counsel across staffing, compensation, benefits, learning, associate relations, and performance management. The role ensures consistent policy application and serves as a liaison to other departments.

The position involves advising management, resolving associate relations issues, and handling staffing support from sourcing to reference checks. A hybrid environment and Nashville-area residency are preferred.

Qualifications

• Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline with 5–8 years of experience; MS/MA with 3–5 years optional.
• Certification is required in some areas.
• Experience coaching managers in employee relations and performance matters.
• Experience conducting investigations.
• Familiar with FMLA, ADA, etc.
• Workday experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administers core human resources programs including staffing, associate relations, compensation, benefits, performance management, and learning.
• Develops and recommends solutions to a variety of human resources issues.
• Consults with management on the interpretation and administration of human resources policies, programs, and procedures.
• Works with managers and associates to investigate and resolve associate relations issues.
• Conducts staffing support including sourcing, interviewing candidates, and conducting reference checks.
