Job summary

Foothills Bank in Mount Pleasant, TX is seeking an HR Generalist II to support the HR Director in employee relations, performance management, and learning and development initiatives.

The role focuses on improving the employee experience, managing onboarding to off-boarding, applying HR policies, and driving process improvements while ensuring regulatory compliance. A proactive mindset and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or business administration, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of HR generalist experience with strategic focus preferred.
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advise and consult across the Employee Life Cycle from onboarding to off-boarding.
• Identify opportunities to improve the employee experience and partner with management on HR solutions.
• Understand business goals and recommend policies to improve productivity.
• Leverage data to support objectives, identify gaps and drive process improvements.
• Facilitate resolution of workplace concerns and advise on policy interpretation.
• Own multiple HR projects from start to finish with project management practices.
• Support onboarding, changes, and terminations; coordinate with L&D for workshops.
