Job summary

Guaranty Bank & Trust is seeking an HR Generalist II for onsite support under the HR Director. You will handle employee relations, performance management, onboarding, and partner with Learning & Development on initiatives. This role offers growth opportunities as the bank expands.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in HR or related field with at least 3 years of HR generalist experience; PHR/SHRM-CP is strongly preferred. Work hours are Monday–Friday, onsite at multiple Texas locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3 years of HR generalist experience, with strategic/talent management experience preferred
• PHR or SHRM-CP strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Advise and consult across the Employee Life Cycle: onboarding, development, relations, LOA and off-boarding
• Identify opportunities to improve the employee experience and partner with management to reduce turnover
• Understand business goals and recommend policies to improve productivity
• Use data to support business objectives and identify gaps/trends
• Resolve workplace concerns and interpret policies for Employee Relations
• Ensure compliance with federal/state/local banking regulations
• Own HR communications via intranet and memos
• Manage HR projects from start to finish with project management
• Assist onboarding, changes, and terminations
• Support Learning & Development through workshops and training
