Job summary

NPAworldwide in Savannah, GA seeks an experienced Human Resources Manager to direct daily HR operations, employee relations, talent acquisition, compensation, and EHS programs while partnering with leadership to drive business results.

The role emphasizes policy development, compliance with employment laws, workforce planning, training, and analytics, with responsibility for budgets and reporting, in a manufacturing-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
• Minimum of five years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of Environmental Health & Safety programs and compliance.
• Experience with HR metrics and reporting tools.
• Strong understanding of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR and EHS strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
• Partner with leadership to address employee relations matters, workplace concerns, and organizational challenges.
• Manage all recruitment, selection, onboarding, and workforce planning activities.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee employee development and training initiatives.
• Support current and future business needs through effective talent management and employee engagement practices.
• Develop, maintain, and recommend HR and EHS policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Monitor and improve HR and EHS systems, processes, and programs across the organization.
• Administer and oversee compensation programs, including annual wage and salary reviews.
• Ensure an efficient and effective recruiting and onboarding process that provides a positive candidate experience.
• Assess organizational training needs and implement development programs.
• Manage workforce headcount planning and reporting.
• Oversee performance management programs designed to drive employee accountability and business results.
• Administer employee benefits and compensation programs.
• Plan and manage departmental budgets.
• Delegate responsibilities effectively and hold team members accountable for performance expectations.
• Identify opportunities to improve organizational processes, structure, efficiency, and employee morale.
• Develop HR metrics and reports to support leadership decision-making.
• Support leadership with reporting, strategic initiatives, and special projects as assigned.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and workplace safety regulations.
