Job summary

NBCUniversal is seeking a Director, Human Resources in hybrid mode from Universal City, CA. The role partners with senior leaders across Finance, Legal, Communications, and Strategy to translate business priorities into talent strategies.

It requires strong business acumen, judgment, and the ability to influence within a matrixed organization. The position leads talent planning, succession, performance, engagement, and organizational capability, while guiding leadership development and change

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience.
• 7+ years of progressive HR experience including HR business partnership, employee relations, talent management, and organizational effectiveness.
• Experience advising and influencing senior leaders on complex talent, organizational and business matters.
• Experience leading organizational change, talent planning, performance management, and employee-relations initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted strategic advisor to senior leaders, translating priorities into people strategies.
• Develop understanding of supported businesses and leadership priorities to anticipate talent needs.
• Lead strategic workforce planning with Finance to assess capacity and future requirements.
• Coach senior leaders on leadership effectiveness, organizational dynamics, and talent decisions.
• Shape and execute integrated talent strategies across succession planning, development, and engagement.
• Lead HR processes including performance management, compensation planning, and talent reviews.
• Identify organizational risks using data and insights to influence decisions.
• Foster an inclusive culture and build trust with employees and leaders.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to define hiring strategies and selection decisions.
