Job summary

NBCUniversal is seeking an HR Generalist to support Corporate Legal and partner closely with leaders and employees on a broad range of people-related matters. You’ll advise on employee relations, performance, development, and talent planning while collaborating with cross-functional HR teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, industrial labor relations or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 3+ years of progressive professional HR experience.
• Experience supporting leaders and employees across a range of HR matters.
• Employee relations experience, including handling sensitive issues and workplace investigations.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted HR partner to Corporate Legal leaders and employees.
• Coach and advise managers on employee relations, performance, development, and other people-related matters.
• Assist in managing employee relations issues and workplace investigations, partnering with Employment Law when needed.
• Support key talent processes including performance management, compensation planning, talent reviews, succession planning, and employee development.
• Work with leaders on organizational design, team structure, workforce planning, and talent priorities.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition and hiring leaders to support recruitment and hiring needs.
• Help leaders and employees understand and navigate HR policies, practices, and programs.
• Use workforce data and employee feedback to spot trends, identify opportunities, and help inform decisions.
• Lead and contribute to HR projects and initiatives that improve how we support, develop, and engage employees.
