Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; at least 10 years of HR leadership experience.
• Ability to read and interpret business regulations and write reports and procedures.
• Strong presentation skills for groups of managers, clients, and the public.
• Deep knowledge of employment laws, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to handle complex employee relations matters with discretion.
• Ability to lead cross-functional collaboration and influence business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction for HR functions and leadership to HR personnel and service providers.
• Develop, implement, and administer HR policies, programs, and procedures for compliant operations.
• Lead employee relations activities including investigations, performance management, and conflict resolution.
• Oversee compensation programs, market benchmarking, and salary structures to maintain equity.
• Supervise benefits programs, open enrollment, and vendor relationships.
• Oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, development, and succession planning.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Consult with legal counsel as appropriate.
• Monitor employee engagement, culture, and retention, and implement improvement initiatives.
• Oversee HR systems, payroll coordination, and reporting to ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.
• Develop HR metrics and reports for executive leadership.
• Provide safety oversight in partnership with Safety personnel.
