Job summary

Vizient, Inc. in Irving, TX is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to serve as a strategic advisor to senior leaders across assigned business areas.

You will translate business goals into people strategies, aligning workforce capabilities with objectives and driving organizational success. Partner with HR Centers of Excellence to design integrated talent solutions, covering organizational design, workforce planning, succession, engagement, leadership development and change management.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience in HR business partnership, employee relations, organizational effectiveness, talent management, workforce planning, and leadership development.
• Knowledge of employment laws, compliance requirements, and HR best practices.
• Coaching, consulting, conflict resolution, influencing, problem-solving, and relationship management while partnering with leaders.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a strategic business partner and advisor to senior leaders and their management teams.
• Understands business objectives, workforce dynamics, and trends, and develops strategies to address talent needs.
• Analyzes workforce data and provides recommendations based on internal/external factors.
• Facilitates strategic discussions with leaders and COEs to develop integrated solutions for retention, engagement, change management, leadership development, and workforce effectiveness.
• Uses leadership assessment tools to support succession planning and development.
• Maintains knowledge of employment laws to minimize risk and works with Legal as needed.
• Supports bench strength via succession planning, career development, leadership development, and talent reviews.
• Identifies organizational development needs, including executive coaching opportunities and training initiatives.
• Provides guidance on organizational design, workforce planning, and talent strategies.
• Leverages assessment tools and recommends new methods to evaluate effectiveness and team performance.
• Facilitates organizational effectiveness programs to improve performance and culture.
• Consults on employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution.
• Partners with Talent Acquisition for strategic workforce planning and hiring initiatives.
• Leads or participates in enterprise-wide HR initiatives and continuous improvement.
