Job summary

Caesars Entertainment at Harrah’s Lake Tahoe seeks an experienced HR leader to partner with property operations. You will oversee recruitment, compensation, employee relations, training and regulatory compliance, driving organizational development and HR policies aligned with company values.

You will coach leaders, monitor turnover and engagement, manage risk, and ensure regulatory training. A strategic thinker with extensive HR experience is essential to support business goals at the Stateline

Qualifications

• Minimum of six–eight years in Human Resources or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years in progressively responsible positions in Human Resources or related field and 5 years of supervisory/management experience.
• Literate and fluent in English.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written.
• Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with Team Members at all levels.
• Knowledge of all State/Federal Employment Laws.
• Working knowledge of Nevada workers’ compensation statutes and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee strategic implementation of consistent HR practices and policies.
• Lead recruitment, compensation and benefits, regulatory compliance, risk and safety programs.
• Coach and develop supervisors/managers in performance management and service quality.
• Ensure regulatory compliance training and departmental training compliance.
• Act as property liaison for litigation and support Caesars Corporate Legal Department.
• Monitor HR metrics like turnover, retention and engagement for planning.
• Manage budgetary control of HR/Risk Management and related functions.
• Identify compliance risks and foster an ethical compliance culture.
