Job summary

Amcor Flexibles North America is seeking a Human Resources Director of Operations to lead HR around 5 plant locations and the commercial org. This role partners with operations leaders to align people strategies with business goals and to champion employee relations, performance management and labor relations where applicable.

Reporting to the VP of HR, the HRD will develop talent, drive change, coach a large HR Business Partner team and travel up to 50% across North America to support key sites

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive HR experience.
• Multi-plant HR experience.
• Employee and labor relations experience, including union-free exposure.
• Working knowledge of HR compliance, employment laws and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and collaborative working style.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% within North America.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for all HR activities in assigned plant locations and functions.
• Partner with manufacturing leadership, commercial organization, and central functions to drive human capital initiatives.
• Lead, coach and develop a large team of HR Business Partners.
• Consult with leaders for workforce planning, organizational redesign, promotions, succession planning, etc.
• Ensure alignment with business needs in the creation and delivery of HR programs.
• Partner with learning and development to identify training needs and culture activities.
