Job summary

Amcor Flexibles, LLC is seeking a Plant Manager to lead overall plant operations, delivering safety, quality, service and cost targets. You will guide the plant team and manage systems, equipment, people and materials per policies and customer requirements.

Reports to the Director of Manufacturing, with 6-10 direct reports in a large facility. You will drive safety culture, develop talent, manage budgeting and Cap-Ex, and foster continuous improvement across teams while ensuring regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in a production environment.
• 7+ years of leadership experience, preferably in flexible packaging.
• Demonstrated passion for safety.
• Six Sigma Black Belt certification strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and drive continuous improvement.
• Strong Customer Service mindset.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of BNA customers and plant capabilities.
• Demonstrated understanding of drivers of plant results, including ability to interpret financial results.

Responsibilities

• Leads plant safety culture and safety-first mindset across the facility.
• Identifies opportunities for KPI improvements (safety, quality, waste, productivity).
• Manages human capital planning, targets, salary planning and performance management.
• Attracts, hires and develops direct reports; builds succession plans.
• Ensures compliance with safety, product safety, fire protection and company policies.
• Maintains effective communications with product associates.
• Oversees process control initiatives and manufacturing SOPs for quality and safety.
• Leads plant budgeting and Cap-Ex execution.
• Drives CI culture with teams and resources.
• Ensures regulatory compliance at local, state and federal levels.
• Drives employee engagement and communicates business needs and results.
• Leads Best Practice sharing with other facilities.
• Delivers safety targets and plant performance against the business plan.
• Manages planning of manpower, materials and machinery for cost efficiency.
• Leads development of plant talent to meet the plan.
