Job summary

Freedom Behavioral Hospital of Plainview is seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to oversee staffing, compensation, benefits, and employee relations for a 20-bed geriatric psych facility in Plainview, TX. The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, CQI participation, and policy development.

The ideal candidate has hospital HR leadership experience, strong communication skills, and a solid grasp of federal and state employment regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources preferred.
• Experience as HR Manager in hospital setting preferred; or 3–5 years as HR Generalist in hospital setting.
• Knowledge of Title VII, Affimative Action, ADA, FMLA and related regulations.
• Experience in nursing or healthcare HR context is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate personnel matters within the facility.
• Process daily accurate time and attendance for all employees.
• Identify training and retraining needs and refer accordingly.
• Develop and implement performance improvement plans for underperforming staff.
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and CQI standards.
