Job summary

Crane Aerospace & Electronics seeks a Director of HR to lead human resources for two facilities in Elyria, OH and Auburn, CA. The role directs labor relations, talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, training, and compliance to build a high-performing, inclusive workforce.

You will partner with senior leaders to align HR strategies with the annual plan. The position requires a decade of HR experience, including 3+ years in management, and union environment exposure; BA is required, MBA

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources
• 3+ years in a managerial role
• Experience in manufacturing and union environments
• Knowledge of local and federal labor laws, CBAs, grievance handling, and contract administration

Responsibilities

• Lead HR across two sites: Elyria, OH and Auburn, CA
• Oversee labor relations, CBAs, grievances; partner with union leadership
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, development, performance evaluation, and rewards
• Ensure HR policies, compliance, and data-driven processes align with business goals
