Job summary

New Horizons Baking Company is seeking a dynamic Human Resources Business Partner to lead HR functions with a focus on union-related matters, recruitment, and onboarding for hourly team members. The role reports to the Director of HR and collaborates with Shipping, Quality, Production, and Corporate offices.

The ideal candidate brings experience in HR, strong labor-law knowledge, and the ability to foster a positive, inclusive culture while managing employee relations and development initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field preferred.
• 2–5 years HR experience, preferably with union exposure.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR functions with emphasis on union relations, recruitment, and onboarding.
• Report to the Director of HR and partner with departments across the plant.
• Maintain HRIS integrity and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop employee engagement initiatives and handle employee relations.
• Coach managers on discipline and conflict resolution.
• Stay current on labor laws and contract negotiations.
