Job summary

Ajinomoto Foods North America, Inc. seeks an HR Business Partner at the Toluca plant to align HR initiatives with business goals. You will serve as a strategic liaison between HR and operations, driving workforce planning, coaching leaders, and supporting policy development to improve employee experience.

You will partner with leadership to manage talent, performance, and budget, while ensuring compliance with regulations and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years advanced HR experience; Master’s degree preferred.
• Professional certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) preferred.
• Experience interfacing with senior business leaders; ability to work independently and with others.
• Good judgment, problem solving, decision-making, and strong communication/influence skills.
• Collaborative with functional leaders and teams; able to manage changing priorities.
• Pay range is $125,000–$135,000 annually plus annual bonus.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning: prepare for the future via reskilling, workforce planning, and succession planning.
• Coaching and Consulting: advise stakeholders on challenges affecting staff.
• Building Competitive Organization: align people priorities with leaders to deliver results.
• Recruitment: partner with Talent Acquisition to identify growth roles.
• Performance Management: support leaders to improve staff performance and development.
• Policy Development: draft HR policies in line with goals and regulations.
• Compliance: stay informed on laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Budget Management: manage HR budget for the area and allocate funds as needed.
