Job summary

Carlyle Group seeks an HR Business Partner to serve as a strategic partner within the Human Capital Management team, supporting Global Investor Relations and US Buyout/Private Equity businesses. The role aligns human capital initiatives with business goals, focusing on performance management, development, recruitment, and internal mobility.

The successful candidate will lead talent calibration, succession planning, compensation and budgeting, employee relations, and DEI efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 10 years HCM experience and at least 3 years as HRBP.
• Prior financial services or Private Equity experience preferred.
• Strong data analytics and people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all human capital initiatives for Global Investor Relations and US Buyout/Private Equity teams.
• Lead performance and talent management including succession planning and calibration.
• Manage recruitment, diversity, and internal mobility strategies.
• Develop compensation/budget management and alignment with business goals.
• Support immigration, FMLA and other HR generalist matters.
• Partner with leaders to improve morale, culture and engagement.
• Analyze HR data to drive informed decisions.
• Lead associate/post-MBA program management for US Corporate Private Equity.
