Job summary

Westlake Pipe & Fittings is seeking an HR Business Partner to support leaders and employees with HR initiatives, processes, and employee relations across a client group. You will build positive relationships and provide guidance in a dynamic, inclusive environment.

The role involves partnering with leadership on policy interpretation, compensation, performance management, and development programs to drive business results and employee engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations, Labor Relations, Human Resources, Business Administration or related field; SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.
• 3-7 years progressive HR experience; 2+ years in a generalist/functional role with exposure to compensation, performance management, training, labor relations.

Responsibilities

• Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures and programs.
• Develop and maintains knowledge of company systems (Workday).
• Recruits, interviews, tests and selects salaried and hourly employees for client group; conducts new employee orientation.
• Administers salary and hourly compensation programs to ensure compliance and equity.
• Administers vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and other employee-related reports.
• Prepares new hire and termination documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine termination reason.
• Represents organization in employee relations and investigations.
• Manages company-sponsored events and programs such as community outreach and service awards.
• Coordinates client group training with HR management.
